The delightfully warm stories of our topsy-turvy neighbors, "Gippeun Uri Joheun Nal," finally open their curtain.
Tonight (30th) evening's first broadcast of KBS 1TV's new daily drama "Gippeun Uri Joheun Nal" (directed by Lee Jae-sang, written by Nam Seon-hye) is a melodramatic family drama created by diverse generations who each want to become the "main character of my life," featuring a life-or-death tug of war between the world's most perfect man and a bungling woman.
In stills released ahead of tonight's (30th) first broadcast, the appearances of Go Gyeol (played by Yoon Jong-hoon) and Jo Eun-ae (played by Uhm Hyun-kyung), who each live their daily lives in New York and Seoul, draw attention. Go Gyeol, fitting for a successful architect, is captured at an awards ceremony and later appears at the ceremony in work clothes, drawing everyone's attention. But then, while delivering his acceptance speech, his eyes redden, heightening curiosity about Go Gyeol's hidden story.
Meanwhile, Jo Eun-ae shows a shy expression at someone's touch on an important day that determines the future of her company, "Lucky Joy Tech," arousing curiosity. Leaving behind eyes full of excitement and tremor, Jo Eun-ae, who continues her confident presentation in front of many investors, falters at a sharp question from investor Gom In-ho (played by Jung Yoon). Attention is focused on whether Jo Eun-ae, standing at a critical turning point for the company's fate, can successfully finish the presentation.
At the same time, Kangsu Group chairman Go Kang-su (played by Lee Ho-jae) raises concern dressed in a patient gown. With a serious expression, he composes himself and makes a phone call that will change his grandson Go Gyeol's fate. Hearing the grandfather's news, a huge wave is foretold to approach Go Gyeol, raising expectations for the first broadcast.
