Comedian and creator Im Lara opened up about bodily changes after giving birth.
On the 29th, a video titled "I reveal all the postpartum body changes nobody told you…!" was posted on the YouTube channel "Enjoy Couple."
That day Son Minsu said while caring for the child, "Maybe because there are four family members at home, my hair is really falling out," Im Lara said, "That's not it. My hair didn't fall out until my baby's 100 days. But after 120 days passed, my hair started falling out so much. When I turn around, hair is gone. So I used a claw clip, but when I turn around again, it's gone," expressing her worries about hair loss.
When Son Minsu sympathized, saying, "That's really sad," Im Lara sighed, "I used to have so much volume, but when I grab my hair the circle is so thin. It's almost halved."
In particular, Im Lara felt once again the changed body after childbirth as she tried on her old clothes. The two were able to go on a date thanks to their grandmother's help. Im Lara said, "I really have no clothes, what do I do," and came out wearing clothes she used to wear.
She had barely managed to pick something, but wearing clothes that looked like they would burst soon, Im Lara said, "Guess when this was from," and Son Minsu recalled, "Was this when we traveled, when we went to Italy?" Im Lara said, "Was it Italy? I don't remember well either," and added, "There isn't much difference from when I wore this in terms of weight," noting that her chest breadth had widened.
She said that after childbirth her chest breadth had widened compared with before, making it impossible to zip up. Im Lara explained, "Honestly, you don't need to worry too much. For single-fetus pregnancies, there are chest exercises you do diligently. They say it closes. So many people return to their pre-virgin state. But I have two babies in here, don't I? So it's worse for me."
The next outfit was the same. Im Lara said, "This is from my prime (clothes); my upper body hasn't changed much," and came out wearing a dress.
But when she turned around the zipper was open, and Son Minsu said, "This is supposed to be closed." In the end Im Lara went out wearing Son Minsu's shirt because her widened chest breadth prevented her clothes from fitting.
There was another problem: shoe size. Im Lara said, "The shoes are a disaster. I have to throw them all away. I gained up to 85kg. Because the feet have to support that, the width of my feet widened," and bitterly said to her now-small shoes, "How did I wear these and travel like that?"
