I'm SOLO 28th season's Yeong-sik and Hyeon-suk couple shared the behind-the-scenes of their romance.
On the 28th, a video titled I'm SOLO 28th season Yeong-sik & Hyeon-suk finally brought part 2! was posted on the YouTube channel Dansiki. The video that day was filmed by Yeong-sik's daughter, a third-year high school student.
Earlier, after appearing on I'm SOLO, they began a serious relationship at Hyeon-suk's suggestion and said they are currently dating and have been together for seven months. They are in a long-distance relationship, traveling between Gwangju and Incheon.
Yeong-sik said, "It felt like we grew stronger as we drifted apart and came back together," and "Our long-distance relationship made our daughter worry, but I saw that people who are meant to meet each other find a way to meet."
He added, "At first Hyeon-suk pushed first, but I worried a lot about her within that. She worked so hard on the show."
Hyeon-suk said, "After I finished, I filmed in May and I contacted Yeong-sik first in June. I thought he seemed like the real one. There is a gap before the broadcast, right? I contacted him then, but at that time he seemed unsure. After six days passed, I thought he was the best, so I went."
She continued, "Seven months was not easy. I had a lot of thoughts. It was a remarriage and there were children and responsibilities, and both of us have been characters who lived taking responsibility for our own lives."
Yeong-sik said, "We are dating happily, so I hope you give us a lot of support. It's nice because our daughter supports us," looking pleased.
