"Hangout With Yoo" comedian Yu Jae-seok brought laughs with a modest lottery craving.
On the 28th episode of the MBC variety show "Hangout With Yoo", a 'diet club' meeting took place. With YouTuber Ralral and Lee Yongjin joining, in a subscription club concept they gathered as Yura's mom, Songyi's mom, Jennie's mom and Jang Hoon's mom.
Because the group kept trying to add more alcohol, Yu Jae-seok repeatedly refused. Then "Is a soft drink okay?" came the pitiful question, and Yu Jae-seok said that was fine. However, a conflict arose between Lee Yongjin and Haha. It was a dispute over whether to get the zero-calorie drink or a regular drink.
Haha said, "Even when I mix rice into instant noodles, I use brown rice," and Lee Yongjin replied, "I'm tired of the zero-calorie talk. If there's no zero, you won't eat?" In the meantime, while everyone shouted for cola and cider, Lee Yongjin wanted a pear drink. But when Lee Yongjin's drink arrived, it was a zero-calorie pear drink, and everyone burst out laughing.
Ralral, noticing Joo Woo-jae's extreme dieting to the point of near fasting, asked, "How much do you eat in a day?" Haha said coquettishly, "We fit well. I can't hang out with those skinny ones (Yu Jae-seok, Joo Woo-jae)," and then stuck close to Ralral and happily ate. Strangely, some of what they ate during the meal and the market snacks burned off while they were walking.
Lee Yongjin said, "Earlier, some mothers walking by said, 'Yu Jae-seok is so skinny,' and then asked, 'Where are those pants from?'" referring to Yu Jae-seok's star power. Joo Woo-jae commented, "This is why celebrities should wear the clothes," offering a model-like appraisal.
Meanwhile, Yu Jae-seok and the members each bought lottery tickets at a lottery shop. Ralral had been walking and said, "There was a lottery shop," and dashed in, so Yu Jae-seok also bought a ticket, and Lee Yongjin reacted, "Yu Jae-seok is even greedy for this?" in astonishment, which drew laughter.
Yu Jae-seok was known as a model taxpayer in 2025, and it was also reported that he did not process expenses at all in expense handling and paid everything in taxes.
