Group SeeYa expressed feelings about their full-group comeback with a new release after 15 years.
On the 29th, a new video titled "Still, we are SeeYa" was released on the YouTube channel Nam Gyuri's Gyulmeong.
That day Nam Gyuri sat on a cafe terrace and said, "I arrived first. I don't know what to say, but the last album came out 15 years ago, and we appeared on 'Sugar Man' six years ago. After 15 years we are releasing a SeeYa album, and I'm the older sister, right? This time we really plan to present it stylishly. Without anyone's interference," she said, expressing her determination.
After the three gathered and the serious conversation continued, Lee Bo-ram opened up about why it took so long to reunite, saying, "(Six years ago) the company at the time was different, and we weren't in a position to take initiative, so we thought 'this isn't easy, it's a difficult thing' and we gave up on the idea that SeeYa could get together again."
She added, "After meeting and talking with my older sister, it wasn't the kind of situation we had misunderstood. I thought it would be good if we could create a situation this time where we can be a bit more in control," and Nam Gyuri explained, "Now the three of us have gone through a lot of time and have come together with one heart."
They said they established "SeeYa Corporation" through this reunion. Nam Gyuri introduced it by saying, "The members have all become company executives."
Kim Yeon-ji told the fans who had waited, "Honestly, I'm very sorry and very grateful that you waited for such a long time. I think we need to prepare well to live up to your expectations. We will repay you with SeeYa's matured songs," she said.
Lee Bo-ram became choked up remembering the fans. She said, "We received a lot of love as soon as we debuted, but there were many things that hurt the fans. I felt apologetic."
Lee Bo-ram said, "I know that fans were treated in ways where they couldn't fully express themselves among other fans and were subjected to things like 'Will SeeYa reunite?' I felt very sorry and sorry that we couldn't repay that feeling. Now I feel we must really do well so there will no longer be things that hurt the fans' feelings."
Meanwhile, SeeYa will release the pre-release track "Still, we" at 6 p.m. on the 30th.
