Actor Kim Jun Han, a former drummer of the band izi, mentioned royalties from the mega-hit song "Emergency Room."
On the 28th, the YouTube channel "Weekend Series Play" featured Lee Jong-won, Jang Da-a and Kim Jun Han from the film "Salmokji," who talked together.
On that day Kim Jun Han said he is from Masan but moved to Seoul after graduating high school, saying "to do music. I started in high school, but I fully decided in my senior year of high school," he said.
He said, "I joined the band club in high school out of curiosity, and at that age when friends get obsessed with something they go all the way without thinking about before or after. I joined then and started playing drums. I liked smashing things," he confessed.
When Yoo Yeon-seok spontaneously suggested a drum performance, Kim Jun Han said, "Honestly, I've been away from music.. I think it's been about 15 years since I played drums," he said. But the moment he picked up the drumsticks a high-level performance followed, and he performed drum accompaniment to the song "Emergency Room."
Yoo Yeon-seok suspected, "'Emergency Room' was actually one of the top 100 karaoke songs. But it seems to have slipped recently," and Kim Jun Han immediately denied it, guessing, "I think it's within the top 20."
As a result of an on-the-spot search by the production team, it ranked fifth on the karaoke chart as of the filming date. Kim Jun Han said, "It's a steady seller. As far as I know, it hasn't dropped out of the top 100 in the past 20 years."
At that point Lee Jong-won asked, "But does karaoke generate royalties?" and Kim Jun Han boasted, "It's kind of like a drizzle that gradually adds to my income in life."
Meanwhile, Kim Jun Han debuted in show business in 2005 as the drummer of the band izi. Izi is famous as the band that sang the drama "Tale of Chunhyang" OST "Emergency Room." Afterwards Kim Jun Han switched to acting, and he made his name and face known through various works.
