The group TOMORROW X TOGETHER released a second concept photo ahead of their comeback.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai) posted the "HUNGER" version concept photo of their mini album 8, 7TH YEAR: 가시덤불에 잠시 바람이 멈췄을 때, on the team's official social media at 12 a.m. on the 29th. It is the second photo following the earlier "THORN" version.
If "THORN" pictured the five members trapped in a thicket, "HUNGER" expresses the primal hunger that comes after a storm has passed. The cracked ground and overturned car suggest that a storm recently swept through. Yellow thorns sprouting through the asphalt add a fantastical atmosphere.
Meanwhile, the members show refreshing visuals as if they had just woken up, dressed comfortably. Soobin holding a shopping basket, Yeonjun leaning against a broken car, Beomgyu throwing fruit, Taehyun eating cereal, and Hueningkai sitting on an overturned car with a vacant expression highlight their charming appeal. Their calmness contrasts with the background that looks as if something major happened, creating a fresh atmosphere.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER is presenting diverse visuals using the "thorn" in the album title as a metaphor. True to the team that has built its own color by unfolding an album's narrative with distinctive visuals, this new release also shows a result that is true to TOMORROW X TOGETHER.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER will release the "TENSION" version concept photo on March 31 and the "ANXIETY" version on April 2, completing the visuals for the mini album 8.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER will release mini album 8, 7TH YEAR: 가시덤불에 잠시 바람이 멈췄을 때, at 6 p.m. on April 13. It is the first group album they are presenting after all members renewed their contracts with their agency, Big Hit Music, last year. The lyrical and long album title recalls the team's music from their early debut. They previously drew attention with distinctive titles such as their debut song 어느날 머리에서 뿔이 자랐다 (CROWN) and the title track 9와 4분의 3 승강장에서 너를 기다려 (Run Away) from their first full-length album The Dream Chapter: MAGIC.
