The Black Label production team-composed OST of K-pop Demon Hunters, "Golden," received the honor of an iHeartRadio award.
On the 26th (local time), at the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2026 held in Los Angeles, U.S., the Netflix animated film K-pop Demon Hunters' OST "Golden" won the award for K-pop song of the year in the institutional sector.
The iHeartRadio Music Awards is an award ceremony hosted by iHeartRadio, the largest online radio broadcaster in the U.S., since 2014 that honors the songs and artists most played on iHeartRadio stations and applications over the year. "Golden" being chosen as this award's K-pop song of the year proved the mega-syndrome that swept and shook 2025.
"Golden," which dominated global charts, had its influence recognized at various prestigious award ceremonies. It won best original song at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards and also won "Best Song Written for Visual Media" at the 68th Grammy Awards, achieving the historic milestone of being the first K-pop work to win.
In addition, on the 15th at the 98th Academy Awards in Los Angeles, U.S. (commonly known as the Oscars), it won best original song, writing an unprecedented record in K-pop history.
Led by The Black Label head Teddy (TEDDY), producers who led the flow of K-pop such as 24 (Twenty Four) and IDO participated in "Golden," which drew attention and elevated K-pop's global stature as it gained worldwide popularity. Those producers, along with Vince, KUSH and Danny Chung, teamed up to co-produce the film's major OSTs "How It's Done," "Soda Pop" and "Your Idol," driving the movie's success on all fronts.
