Actors Son Tae-young and Kwon Sang-woo candidly expressed their honest thoughts about the flood of reactions after revealing their son Luk-hee's face.

That day, Son Tae-young and Kwon Sang-woo sat on the terrace of a cafe near their home, drank beverages and talked. Then Son Tae-young recounted, "We recently had pictures of Luk-hee sleeping come out. I learned about it from the articles. People said he looks a lot like oppa. They even joked that Kwon Sang-woo gave birth to Kwon Sang-woo, and they gave a lot of compliments and Luk-hee liked it too."
Recently, Son Tae-young and Kwon Sang-woo's son Luk-hee posted a photo with Kwon Sang-woo on his social account, and Son Tae-young left a 'heart' emoticon showing affection. In the photo, Luk-hee drew attention with handsome looks that closely resembled Kwon Sang-woo. Given reports that he is over 180cm tall, there was also interest in whether he would debut in the entertainment industry.
Regarding that photo, Son Tae-young said, "He just turned 17 and he's at an age to do what he wants, and we don't think it's right for us to say 'don't post dad's photos' or 'don't post mom's photos.' In my view. Luk-hee also made a soccer Instagram, and he said, 'Okay, mom, I'll follow you too,' then Luk-hee posted a photo of his dad and an article came out, and some people said, 'Aren't you going to make Luk-hee a celebrity? Is that why you're revealing the photo?' We aren't the kind of people who would say 'please make him a celebrity' and have that change anything," she dismissed.
Kwon Sang-woo drew a line, saying, "He's not interested in being a celebrity and doesn't even know what it is," and Son Tae-young said, "From our perspective, our child doesn't have the flair for it. And he doesn't want it in the first place."
Then Kwon Sang-woo honestly said, "I don't want that either," and Son Tae-young agreed, saying, "I don't want that either." He explained, "I just hope Luk-hee pursues a different path. And if there's something he likes—he loves soccer so much, but he's not a soccer player."
Kwon Sang-woo said, "It's his hobby activity. His passion is very high," and Son Tae-young said, "And getting into soccer helped him get through puberty well. Son Tae-young reiterated, "Ri-ho also just does what she wants to do healthily, and we only guide the path a bit; we're not the kind of parents who tell kids to do something and expect them to obey these days," and Kwon Sang-woo said, "All parents probably feel the same, but honestly the most important thing is just that they grow up without getting hurt and in good health."
Son Tae-young added, "Because that's our educational view, whether Luk-hee posts photos or not, I hope he uses Instagram like other kids his age, communicates with friends and has fun while doing what he needs to do," and said, "Reporters write such good headlines that when they write 'idol-level looks,' people react, but he simply resembles this person."
