'Salim-nam2' Kim Gu Ra's son Dong-hyeon, stage name GREE, revealed a changed family dynamic after being discharged from the military.
On the 28th episode of KBS2TV variety show 'Salim-nam 2', GREE appeared. GREE was a hot topic for enlisting in the Marine Corps, and he said he went steadfastly despite Kim Gu Ra's opposition. GREE said, "It seems my dad opposed my enlistment in the Marine Corps because he couldn't go with a clear conscience," and added, "But he bragged a lot. Someone might think you served in the Marine Corps yourself."
GREE has a half sibling. That's because Kim Gu Ra remarried a woman 12 years his junior and had a late-born daughter at age 52. GREE proudly said, "My sibling has grown a lot. She is 6 years old. My stepmother and my sibling and I are going to Tokyo Disneyland."
Lee Yo-won was surprised and asked, "So you now call her mom?" At the time of Kim Gu Ra's remarriage, GREE said he called his not-very-much-older stepmother 'noona' (older sister).
GREE said, "Originally I called her 'noona.' On the day I was discharged, I started calling her 'mom.' I sent a text and apologized. With a little courage, things changed so much," and shared the touching story.
