Singer Dok2 and Lee Hi have begun a public relationship and released a flood of couple shots.
On the 28th, web magazine HIP reported via its official account that Dok2 and Lee Hi are dating, drawing attention.
According to the report, the two recently formalized their romantic relationship simultaneously with the release of the first single, You & Me, from the label they co-founded, 808 HI RECORDINGS. The new song reportedly contains the narrative the two have built up over a long time.
Dispatch reported that Dok2 and Lee Hi began dating in late 2022 and are currently staying together in the United States.
Neither side issued any particular statement, but the two officially acknowledged their relationship by posting couple photos on social media.
Lee Hi said, "To my one and only DOK2 and 808HI, happy birthday!" and noted, "It has been a long journey. And finally today has come. I celebrate my person (MY MAN) Dok2's birthday, and 808HI too! This is our celebration. Turn the music up loud and let's celebrate our beginning together."
Dok2 also asked, "Is everyone listening well? More songs coming soon," referring to Lee Hi as "MY LADY." He released photos showing him with his arm around Lee Hi's waist and with his arm over her shoulders.
Meanwhile, Dok2 and Lee Hi worked together during MBC's Infinite Challenge history hip-hop project in 2016 and continued their connection by participating in each other's music projects afterward.
After recently ending her exclusive contract, Lee Hi established the hip-hop and R&B–based label 808 HI RECORDINGS with Dok2, and the two are expected to run the business together across music production, concert planning, and scouting new talent.
