Singer Lee Hi is at the center of dating rumors with rapper Dok2, and a two-shot she posted while focusing on promoting her new song is suggestive.
On the 28th, web magazine HIP reported via its official account that Dok2 and Lee Hi are dating.
According to the report, Dok2 and Lee Hi revealed their relationship at the same time as the release of the first single, "You & Me," from "808 HI RECORDINGS," the label they founded together. The dating rumors gained more traction when rappers Sleepy and DinDin liked the post.
After Lee Hi's exclusive contract with Dooover Entertainment recently ended, she and Dok2 jointly founded the hip-hop and R&B–based label "808 HI RECORDINGS." The label plans to undertake various projects including music production, concert planning, and video content production, and will also work to discover new artists.
With them sharing the same label and dating rumors surfacing, Dok2 and Lee Hi's names stirred up the weekend entertainment world. Born in 1996, Lee Hi and Dok2, born in 1990, have a six-year age gap, leading to speculation that a new music-industry couple may be forming.
Ahead of her new single's release, Lee Hi promoted it by posting a YouTube link on her social account. The promotional video included two-shots of Dok2 and Lee Hi. The fact that she released a video containing two-shots without definitively acknowledging the relationship is suggestive.
Meanwhile, Dok2 debuted in 2005 by writing, composing and featuring on Dynamic Duo's "Circus." Lee Hi gained recognition through SBS's "K-pop Star Season 1" and debuted in 2012 with the digital single "1,2,3,4."
