Son Dam-bi spoke about the realistic hardships of juggling childcare and preparing for filming.
On the 27th, a video titled "Has she grown this much already? Hey/Dam-bi, updating the 1-day-1-talent-show: filming/In dad's sole childcare/happy daily life" was released on Son Dam-bi's YouTube channel "Dambison."
That day Son Dam-bi mentioned her husband Lee Gyu-hyeok, saying, "I'm a bit haggard right now. Something amazing happened. My husband cooked everything for me," and then said, "The housewife look is very nice to see," which made people laugh, and Lee Gyu-hyeok reacted bashfully, saying, "It's nothing like this."
On the table were neatly arranged tteokgalbi, pork cutlet, seasoned vegetable side dishes, stir-fried anchovies, and kimchi, and Lee Gyu-hyeok showed his caring side by preparing fried eggs himself in the kitchen. Son Dam-bi expressed satisfaction, saying, "If there's any left, we can eat it for dinner too."
Sitting at the table, Son Dam-bi laughed, "May I eat?" then confessed, "I don't know how each day is passing," conveying the realities of childcare.
She also announced news of her return as an actor. Son Dam-bi said, "Filming starts next Monday. I'll be filming a short-form drama for 10 days," explaining, "I have to memorize lines while watching the baby."
She voiced her hardship, saying, "I have to memorize lines quickly, but time is tight. I can't fully memorize them because of the baby. I have to split up my time to memorize, so it's different from before."
In response, Lee Gyu-hyeok promised strong support, saying, "Make yourself comfortable, I'll do it for you," and Son Dam-bi replied, "How could oppa do everything?" showing mutual consideration.
Son Dam-bi added, "My husband is helping a lot," expressing her gratitude to Lee Gyu-hyeok.
Meanwhile, Son Dam-bi married Lee Gyu-hyeok in 2022 and gave birth to a daughter, Hae-i, in April 2025. Since then she has steadily shared her childcare daily life and updates on social media and YouTube.<
