'Jun Hyun-moo plan 3' Jun Hyun-moo–GwakTube and "Yongin experts" Seo Eun-kwang–Yook Sung-jae stimulated viewers' dopamine with a Yongin food trip.
In the 24th episode of the full-fledged real street food documentary "Jun Hyun-moo plan 3" (MBN·Channel S·SK Broadband co-produced) broadcast on the 27th, Jun Hyun-moo–GwakTube (Gwak Jun-bin) carried out a Yongin local eateries food trip together with BTOB's Seo Eun-kwang and Yook Sung-jae, the "sons of Yongin." They swept up everything from a cheonggukjang restaurant famous among celebrities to Yook Sung-jae's mother's favorite acorn platter noodles and the original scorched-rice chicken soup place of the "Seo Eun-kwang plan," delivering happy gastronomy to viewers at home.
That day, Jun Hyun-moo and GwakTube, who appeared in Yongin, started their "first meal in Yongin" at a cheonggukjang restaurant with 45 years of tradition. When Jun Hyun-moo entered the restaurant and saw that every wall was covered with celebrities' autographs, he jokingly lamented, "Everyone came except me," which drew laughs. After tasting the cheonggukjang he exclaimed, "Why am I only coming here now?" and burst into genuine emotion. After the meal, the two met their eating buddies Seo Eun-kwang and Yook Sung-jae. Yook Sung-jae revealed, "I lived in Yongin from age 8 to 15. My parents are also in Suzy," and Seo Eun-kwang likewise said, "I'm a native of Yongin, and I was an ambassador for five years," exuding authentic hometown pride.
The mood naturally turned into the two's "Yongin restaurant showdown." Yook Sung-jae recommended an acorn specialty restaurant, saying, "If chef Anh Sung-jae has acorn noodles, I have acorn mukbap." Seo Eun-kwang countered, "There's a budaejjigae place everyone in Cheoin-gu knows. It's number one for me!" He even carried out a "citizen interview," but the citizen honestly replied, "I don't think I've heard of that restaurant," which caused uproarious laughter.
In the end, Yook Sung-jae's plan to visit the acorn platter noodle restaurant was chosen, and while they were moving, Seo Eun-kwang asked Jun Hyun-moo and GwakTube about the secret to BTOB's 14-year longevity; he praised Yook Sung-jae, saying, "The maknae is the secret!" Yook Sung-jae revealed the story of dividing individual activity revenue into "1/N" shares and admitted, "Honestly, my heart wavered in the middle." Jun Hyun-moo teasingly asked, "Have you ever thought about going solo?" and Yook Sung-jae mentioned a time he felt down, saying, "There was a time I was quietly distressed alone. When I was filming the drama 'Who Are You,' I could only sleep seven hours total in a week. But after shooting I returned to the dorm and Eun-kwang hyung was wearing underwear and playing games," recalling the moment he felt a harsh reality check.
In the cheerful back-and-forth, Jun Hyun-moo asked, "When did you learn about the restaurant we're going to?" Yook Sung-jae replied, "I've never been there either," showing his absent-minded charm. When everyone burst out laughing, he said, "It's a place my mother brings takeout from!" and then called his mother. Jun Hyun-moo suddenly asked Yook Sung-jae's mother, "What kind of son is he at home?" and she laughed, saying, "He's a very thankful son. He does his own work and never caused worry." Yook Sung-jae said, "This is the first time I've had this kind of conversation with my mom," and was moved.
Finally arriving at the acorn specialty restaurant, they first tried the restaurant's "kick" young radish kimchi. When everyone praised the refreshing taste, Jun Hyun-moo generously "flexed" by buying a box of young radish kimchi for each cast and crew member. In the warm atmosphere, a full acorn course of sprout salad, mukbap, and platter noodles unfolded, and Jun Hyun-moo highly praised it, saying, "It could become a representative regional dish of Yongin." As everyone expressed satisfaction and Yook Sung-jae's plan wrapped up, Seo Eun-kwang immediately fired up the "Seo Eun-kwang plan," saying, "Next is the 'scorched-rice chicken soup.'"
While moving, Jun Hyun-moo asked, "Who does Yook Sung-jae consider BTOB's main vocalist?" Yook Sung-jae candidly answered like a leader, "The practical main vocalist is Changseop hyung." But Seo Eun-kwang didn't back down, saying, "Now I think I sing much better than Changseop," which caused laughter. Later, at the original scorched-rice chicken soup restaurant they arrived at, the four marveled at the combination of tender chicken soup and crispy scorched rice. Toward the end of the meal, Jun Hyun-moo shifted the topic, asking, "Aren't you the veteran king when you go to music shows these days?" Finally, the four linked arms and warmly concluded the Yongin food trip by singing BTOB's new song.
