A YouTube channel meant to convey singer Seo In Young's resolve to reform suddenly disappeared, raising questions, but Seo In Young herself reassured fans by explaining it was a temporary error.
Seo In Young wrote on her social account on the 27th, "There was a temporary error so my account was briefly blocked," and added, "Reforming is so hard. Please help me, Google YouTube."
Earlier, on the 26th Seo In Young opened the YouTube channel "Seo In Young's reform" and said she would reform while reading controversies from the past 10 years and the malicious comments that followed. Seo In Young said, "I think YouTube is the only place where I can honestly show my true feelings. I didn't choose the channel name, but it doesn't sound bad. Where else can a person recognize their wrongdoing and try to improve? I think admitting it is important."
In a roughly 41-minute video, Seo In Young recounted the 2016 "Radio Star" casual speech incident, the 2011 "tilting one's head" incident, the 2010 "Heroic Contest" cast tension incident, a 2013 feud rumor with Baek Z Young, the 2017 "With You 2" swearing incident, feelings about marriage and divorce, nose cosmetic surgery and choir activities videos, describing the situations and her feelings at the time. In particular, while reading malicious comments she corrected the facts.
After the video was released it drew attention as Seo In Young's comeback and reform, but the YouTube channel suddenly disappeared on the 27th, just one day later, creating curiosity.
Even now, when accessing the "Seo In Young's reform" YouTube channel, a notice appears saying "this account has been terminated for violating Google service terms." Google did not specify which terms the "Seo In Young's reform" channel violated.
Amid fans' worries and much speculation after Seo In Young's comeback was welcomed, Seo In Young herself appeared. She explained it was a temporary error, not an account termination for violating service terms, and lamented, "Reforming is so hard."
Meanwhile, Seo In Young debuted in July 2002 as a member of the group Jewelry and is currently active as a solo singer.
