Broadcaster Jang Young-ran risked her life to climb Gwanaksan Mountain.
On the 27th, a video titled "Came to get energy but got drained? Current shocking conditions of Gwanaksan Mountain where people are crowding (reaction from the You Quiz physiognomist?)" was posted on the YouTube channel A-grade Jang Young-ran.
Trying to receive Gwanaksan Mountain's spirit and grant subscribers' wishes by attempting to climb Gwanaksan Mountain, Jang Young-ran sighed at the first staircase hell she encountered after 30 minutes.
"It's so hard," Jang Young-ran complained, then stopped walking. The production team asked, "Decide. Will you give up here or not?" To that, Jang Young-ran said, "Where would that be?" and mustered her strength to keep climbing.
Then she faced another steep slope, and Jang Young-ran said, "I feel like cursing. So this must be the 'evil' mountain," yet she showed firm resolve, saying, "Still, going down halfway won't let my pride allow it."
After an hour of climbing, Jang Young-ran, on flat ground, offered a maxim: "That's how life is. If there are ups and downs, there are flat parts, and when you go up, there is also going down — that's life."
Meeting subscribers here and there, Jang Young-ran gained strength and climbed the mountain again. She vowed, "All of you can do it. I had two kids and endured 20 years of being disliked—why can't I do this? You can do it."
Though tired, silently enduring and climbing, Jang Young-ran sat again to rest at 1 hour and 30 minutes into the climb.
At that time, stylist Hong sil-jang exclaimed, "Sister, why do you look so pale?" Jang Young-ran showed the white of her eyes and said, "It means it's that hard. I'm risking my life collecting my kids' wishes and doing this."
