Singer Jeon Yu-jin graces the May cover of global K-trot magazine "TROTIER."
TROTIER is a pictorial magazine that combines the meanings of Top-tier (최상위), Premier (최고) and Frontier (최첨단) and presents the level and direction of trot content.
This May issue, produced in four cover versions (A·B·C·D) capturing Jeon Yu-jin's charm, is themed "THE NEW STANDARD" and focuses on Jeon Yu-jin's present, who has completed stages in her own way beyond the epithet "child prodigy."
It highlighted the musical change that gains depth through vocals self-developed without formal lessons and restrained expression, and vividly captured her growth process as an artist.
In the interview, she broadly discussed her upbringing in Pohang and early stage experiences, and the changed attention and sense of responsibility after winning King of Singers. It also pinpointed Jeon Yu-jin's musical interpretations and standards that create deeper resonance by stripping away emotion.
Along with this, the issue includes various contents spotlighting the trot scene, including Jeon Yu-jin's cover story. Through artist interviews, pictorials and columns, it balanced the genre's trends and present.
