The place they arrived at amid tension was a pork rib restaurant run by the prospective mother-in-law. Appearing with both hands full of gifts, Kim Seong-su bowed respectfully and took his first step as a prospective son-in-law. Watching this in the studio, Kim Seong-su later recalled the moment and admitted, "I was really extremely nervous."
When the mother suddenly asked what he liked about her daughter, Kim Seong-su said, "Although it's been less than 100 days since I met So-yoon, she takes care of herself well and is a very straightforward person," drawing attention. He added, "Maybe because she resembles her mother, she smiles a lot. She seems to have a very positive influence on someone who will be with her in the distant future. And isn't she also pretty?" which brought laughter.
