Yuna debuted as a solo artist on March 23 with the mini album Ice Cream and its title track of the same name. On the 26th, she delivered her first music show performance as a solo artist on Mnet's M Countdown, capturing attention.

Riding the momentum, at 1 p.m. on the 27th she released a remix version, Ice Cream (Remixes), offering a different way to enjoy her solo debut song. Ice Cream (Remixes) includes four tracks—English, Sped Up, Slowed + Reverb, and Instrumental—allowing listeners to enjoy the original song's charms in diverse ways. On the same day, she released a physical album in the United States along with the new song remixes, further boosting global fan interest.
