An So-hee, who debuted at age 14 as a member of the group Wonder Girls, revealed why she held back tears after her debut.
An So-hee mentioned her debut days in the "With An So-hee" content released on Kian84's YouTube channel Life84 on the 26th.
That day Kian84 asked An So-hee, 'There are stories that you don't have many friends,' and An So-hee snapped back, "I have friends. Even if I don't have many, I have long-time friends. I can still call them now. I have friends I can say, 'Want to have dinner later?'"
She added, "Excluding my real older sister, I really have four best friends. There are four who are 'true friends who have known everything about me since childhood.' If there are four, isn't that a lot?"
Kian84 also said, "There are good things when you work as a singer, but I heard you became more introverted because you were hurt by malicious comments."
In response, An So-hee candidly said, "It's true that I became a bit more cautious while promoting. Fortunately, because I received great love all at once, I was a little surprised, and being so busy made it very hard and tiring, so I gradually stopped talking, I think."
An So-hee said, "At that time I don't think I cried. I thought I had to hold it in. I think I didn't know how to express it. So I think I held it all in. Now I cry easily."
An So-hee debuted in 2007 as the youngest member of Wonder Girls at age 14 while in the third year of middle school. Wonder Girls gained nationwide popularity with "Tell Me" and later produced several hit songs. After Wonder Girls disbanded, An So-hee transitioned to acting and is active as an actress.
