"A person surnamed Choi" from 'Unknown Legend' is drawing attention as a trot rookie who combines looks and skill.
Choi Jong-won appears on the general programming channel MBN's 'Unknown Legend - the hierarchy war among trot company employees' (hereafter 'Unknown Legend'), which airs every Wednesday at 9:40 p.m., and is delivering a dazzling performance.
While enrolled in the taekwondo department at Yongin University and introduced as JYP Entertainment's No. 1 trot trainee, Choi Jong-won captured the judges' and audience's attention with his handsome appearance the moment he appeared. He then expressed his bold aspiration, saying, "Dreaming of becoming the next Nam Jin, I moved from Yeosu to Seoul," leaving a strong first impression.
On the preliminary stage, Choi Jong-won selected Jang Min Ho's 'I love you, sister' and showed a fresh, younger-man charm. In the full-fledged main stage 'Unknown vs. famous team deathmatch,' Choi Jong-won performed as part of the 'famous TOP1 Seongri team.' He flawlessly executed the sharply synchronized choreography of overwhelming scale with the mega crew, and his relaxed stage manners while interacting with the audience from a protruding stage added to a can't-take-your-eyes-off performance.
Earlier, Choi Jong-won advanced to the semi-finals of KBS 2TV's 'The Ddanddara,' showcasing outstanding vocal and performance abilities. Afterwards, in March last year he signed a trainee contract with Init Entertainment, a subsidiary of JYP Entertainment, and has been stepping up his training.
