Comedian Yoon Taek of You Quiz on the Block burst into tears recalling his father, who is battling illness.
On the afternoon of the 25th, tvN You Quiz on the Block aired and featured comedians Yoon Taek and Lee Seung-yoon, who have been searching for the "natural man" for 15 years.
Yoon Taek confessed that his father is in critical condition and said, "My father has terminal cholangiocarcinoma. Now there isn't much time left. Every time I face my father it's so hard. It's so hard to hold back tears," and showed the tears he had been holding back.
Yoon Taek calmly conveyed the painful feelings of a son who must prepare for farewell. Yoon Taek added, "Nothing in the world is permanent, but he says he will go peacefully, and there's nothing we can do though it's heartbreaking," evoking sympathy from viewers.
In particular, Yoon Taek said that the show he appears on, "I Am a Natural Person," was a great joy and source of pride for his father. Yoon Taek said, "When it's time for I Am a Natural Person, it seems like the happiest moment in my father's life. Everyone liked it, and when we went to restaurants people asked, 'Do you know I Am a Natural Person?' and said, 'Yoon Taek is my son,' he was happiest when he boasted about me," revealing his deep love for his father.
