Singer and broadcaster Lee Hae young quietly deleted the post in question after drawing on her pet dog's face and becoming embroiled in allegations of animal abuse.
Earlier on the 25th, Lee Hae young posted a short video with her pet dog on her social media with the caption "I enjoyed it thanks to you."
It was an ordinary video of daily life with her pet, but the problem was the pet's "face." Around the dog's eyes there was thick black coloring as if made-up, along with a red heart, what appeared to be blusher, and doodles drawn across the face.
Netizens' reactions were mixed. While some responded to the daily life with the pet saying "lovely" and "cute," others criticized her with comments such as "Are you out of your mind?" and "This is animal abuse."
Seemingly aware of the controversy, Lee Hae young has deleted the post showing the pet's image. She has not offered any particular position regarding the matter.
Meanwhile, Lee Hae young debuted in the mixed group 1730, later performed with the group Cocoro and was loved, and currently continues her path as an artist by holding solo exhibitions as a painter.
She married Lee Sang-min, formerly of the group Roolla, in 2004 but divorced the following year, and in 2011 she remarried Bae Jae-hoon, vice chairman of MBK Partners, and has two daughters.<
