'Show Me the Money 12' will determine the long-awaited finalists.
Today (26th, Thursday) on Mnet's Show Me the Money 12 episode 11, the final gate toward the finale, the semi-final, will unfold. Along with the appearance of powerful featuring artists, a feast of legendary stages that cross genres will continue, promising to send chills even to viewers in the front row at home.
In the semi-final, after fierce competition among about 36,000 applicants—the most in the show's history—Kwon O-seon, Kim Ha-on, Now I Am Young, Rapsandu, Mason Home, Milli, Jung Jun-hyeok, Jene the Zilla, and Trevi, who made the top nine, will compete for just five final tickets. Zico & Crush's team and Gray & Roco's team each have three survivors, while Lil Moshpit & Park Jae-beom's team has two, and Jay Tong & Hukky Shibaseki's team has only one survivor. Depending on the semi-final results, producer teams may also face elimination, setting the stage for intense competition to survive.
The featuring lineup is also formidable. Artists reminiscent of an awards show—from BewhY to Coogie, E Sens, Lil Boi, Nathy, Noh Yoon-ha, The Quiett, Woos, and Wonstein—will all appear to raise the excitement. With a dazzling parade of performances expected, the released preview video even shows Kim Jin-pyo saying, "Whatever you imagined, it will be beyond that," and "(While doing 'Show Me the Money') I've never said a line like this before," heightening expectations.
Finalists will be decided by individual ranking rather than the existing team matchup format, and developments are expected to make it difficult to predict the results until the end. The released preview captures Kim Jin-pyo's line that "rankings are fluctuating" along with producers showing mixed emotions, adding tension. In particular, producer Hukky Shibaseki, who has only one survivor left on his team, said, "This is so unexpected," raising curiosity about what outcome will unfold and who will advance to the final.
Meanwhile, the main-stage competition song 'KISS KISS KISS (Feat. Sunwoo (THE BOYZ)) (Prod. by Hukky Shibaseki)' performed by Now I Am Young and Royal 44 achieved the feat of reaching No. 1 on Apple Music's "Today's Top 100: Korea" chart. Earlier, Zico & Crush's team's 'TICK TOCK (Feat. ZICO) (Prod. by ZICO, Crush),' presented through the digital single mission, has also proven its streaming power by consistently maintaining a high position on the Melon TOP100 chart.
