Recipe For Love is heating up living rooms with the romantic chemistry between two families tied as sworn enemies.
Last weekend, episodes 15 and 16 of the KBS 2TV weekend drama Recipe For Love (directed by Han Jun-seo and Bae Eun-hye, written by Park Ji-sook) aired, delivering viewers' thrills and laughs with a variety of love lines that cross generations. Here, we look at the romantic chemistry that makes Recipe For Love even sweeter.
#Jin Se Yun x 박기웅, hardships before love? even a proposal of "a one-year temporary relationship"
Princess Joo-a (Jin Se Yun) and Yang Hyun-bin (박기웅) faced an unexpected crisis after formally beginning their relationship. They spent sweet times from choosing pet names to surprising each other with visits to one another's homes, but misunderstandings and conflicts between both parents repeatedly held them back. Yang Hyun-bin struggled to win points with Han Seong-mi (Yu Ho-jeong) who visited his company, but he was frustrated after a mortifying moment when his shirt was unbuttoned.
Also, Princess Joo-a repeatedly suffered misfortunes, from pricking Cha Se-ri (So Yi-hyun) in the waist with a safety pin to accidentally pushing her while trying to protect her from a flying golf ball, causing her to get hurt. Princess Joo-a couldn't hide her frustration in front of Yang Hyun-bin and asked, "Shall we just date for one year?" But unable to bear breaking up, the two decided not to say that again and reaffirmed their tenderness and resolve.
#Choi Dae-chul x 조미령, from sworn enemies to heartthrob creators? a turning point full of fluttering excitement!
Gong Dae-han (Choi Dae-chul) and Yang Dong-sook (조미령) experienced changing feelings for each other. Gong Dae-han looked after Yang Dong-sook carefully whenever she found herself in awkward situations, and Yang Dong-sook expressed gratitude toward him, calling him "such a good person." Especially when the two visited the courthouse for their divorce, they faced the brazen attitudes of Lee Hee-kyung (Kim Bo-jeong) and Min Yong-gil (Kwon Hae Seong), and Yang Dong-sook defiantly linked arms with Gong Dae-han and responded with "honey." Enraged by that scene, Min Yong-gil threatened using Min Ji-hu's (Cho Yi-hyun) custody as a weapon, but Gong Dae-han strongly confronted Lee Hee-kyung, vowing to get back the installment savings and deposit, becoming a solid support for Yang Dong-sook.
Afterward, the two enjoyed a divorce celebration date. Gong Dae-han showed affection by winning a stuffed toy for Yang Dong-sook and peeling shrimp for her one by one. Touched, Yang Dong-sook sincerely said, "Thank you for asking me to go out and play today. I thought it would be the most miserable and saddest day." Expectations are rising over whether the unique chemistry that began as childhood friends will develop into romantic feelings.
#Kim Seon-bin x Yoon Seo-ah, a new variable appears! a love triangle sparked by Park Ri-won?
Yang Eun-bin (Yoon Seo-ah) unabashedly expressed her affection for Gong Woo-jae (Kim Seon-bin) despite her family's opposition. But Gong Woo-jae only sees Yang Eun-bin as more than a close younger sister. Tension rose when a new variable, Choi Min-seo (Park Ri-won), entered this precarious relationship.
Meanwhile, Gong Woo-jae started working part-time at a barbecue restaurant with Choi Min-seo, and Yang Eun-bin's anxiety peaked. Previously, Gong Woo-jae and Choi Min-seo had a connection in which they not only helped a collapsed passerby but he also found Choi Min-seo's lost necklace. In particular, Gong Woo-jae unconsciously smiled at Choi Min-seo's spiritedness while working the part-time job, creating a strange atmosphere. Curiosity is growing about what ripple effects the younger generation's full-blown love triangle will bring to the two families in future episodes.
Viewers' attention is focused on the fantastic synergy created by the characters in Recipe For Love, which features a variety of romance narratives.
