Announcer Kim Ok-young, active in LoL Champions Korea (LCK) and elsewhere, announced her marriage.
On the 26th, announcer Kim Ok-young posted on her social account, "Everyone, I'm getting married!" along with wedding photos.
Kim Ok-young said, "Before I knew it, I'm approaching my 10th year in broadcasting. The time I spent preparing to be an announcer was enjoyable, and I was truly happy doing various broadcasts. So I was a little afraid to build the harmonious family that is another of my dreams. But I met someone who turned that fear into excitement."
She added, "Every day this person asks how my day was, and even when something is difficult, if we eat tteokbokki together and talk, they make any problem seem no big deal. They always think of me first, consistently support me and believe in me, and I want to spend my life with this person."
KBS announcer Heo Yoo-won commented, "Biggest congratulations," and Bae Hye-ji said, "A more wonderful world will open up to sincere and bright Ok-young," offering support as a senior in marriage. Kwon Yi-seul also congratulated her, saying, "So, so happy for you."
Born in 1994, announcer Kim Ok-young holds a master's degree in media and new media from Korea University and appeared on MBC's News Today culture and entertainment plus, Arirang International Broadcasting, KBS's Window on North and South: Tongilro to the future, Yonhap News TV and others. Since 2023, she has gained recognition serving as an LCK CL announcer.

I'm getting married!!
I have dreamed of becoming an announcer since elementary school
and I have pursued this dream without wavering even once until now.
Before I knew it, I'm approaching my 10th year in broadcasting
and the time I spent preparing to be an announcer was enjoyable.
I was truly happy doing various broadcasts.
So building the harmonious family that is another of my dreams
was a little frightening.
But I met someone who turned that fear into excitement.
They ask me every day how my day was
and even when something is hard, if we eat tteokbokki together and talk,
they make any problem seem no big deal — a truly wonderful person.
They always think of me first
and consistently support and believe in me, and with this person
I intend to spend my life together.
There are many people I want to tell this news to, but
because it's been a while since contacting many people and the news is about my marriage,
I was cautious, worrying it might be a burden
and there are many people I could not contact in time.
