'You Quiz on the Block' comedian Lee Seung-yoon revealed the astonishing rebroadcast record of 'I Am a Natural Person' and the revenue resulting from it, drawing attention.
On the afternoon of the 25th, tvN's You Quiz on the Block featured comedians Yoon Taek and Lee Seung-yoon, who have been searching for "natural people" for 15 years.
I Am a Natural Person celebrated its 15th anniversary this year, and it has the remarkable record of airing as many as 701 episodes. In particular, Yoon Taek surprised everyone by saying, "It's so strange that it's the No. 1 rebroadcast in Korea."
MC Yu Jae-seok then asked about the revenue system, saying, "So they ask for that much rebroadcast fee?"
Lee Seung-yoon explained, "The rebroadcast fee comes in once a year. In a way, it's a lump sum coming in," revealing the behind-the-scenes of how rebroadcast fees are settled. He added, "I saved that up and bought my parents a house, which helped a lot," sharing a filial episode about giving his parents a house with rebroadcast fees he had collected over years.
However, Yoon Taek honestly said, "People think the rebroadcast fees must be enormous, but institutionally that's not the case. (Still) I'm grateful," showing his deep affection and gratitude for the program.
