The group Stray Kids released a special new song present today (25), marking their 8th anniversary since debut.
Stray Kids will release the digital single "Star, Light (STAY)" (별, 빛 (스테이)) on the 25th. Having announced the beginning of Stray Kids on March 25, 2018, they, eight years later today, convey their sincere feelings to STAY (fandom name: STAY) through music.
"Star, Light (STAY)" adds warm emotion with band sound, guitar and piano melodies, expressing the hope for a tomorrow possible because they are together by likening it to the "universe" and the "stars." The lyrics, including "Will you stay by my side? Then I will become the universe that surrounds you," revealed in a short-form video posted on the official SNS channel on the 23rd, convey the deep sincerity of Bangchan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N.
The members' sincerity is engraved throughout this digital single. "Star, Light (STAY)" was co-composed by members Han and Seungmin, and the two completed the lyrics themselves to gift Stray Kids' feelings to STAY with the most radiant expressions. The online cover also had all eight members directly participate in the design, drawing stars that capture each member's personality and surrounding STAY, which became a compass, to express "the moment light becomes direction."
Following the new song release, on the 28th and 29th, and April 4 and 5, they will hold their sixth official fan meeting Stray Kids 6TH FANMEETING 'STAY in Our Little House' at Incheon Inspire Arena. On the final performance days of each week, March 29 and April 5, the offline performances will be simultaneously broadcast as paid online live streams via the Beyond LIVE platform.
