Netflix has confirmed it will release the film "Humint" on Wed., April 1.
The film "Humint," which won praise from audiences for its thrilling action and tightly woven emotional lines of its characters, will meet viewers worldwide through Netflix on Wed., April 1. "Humint" is the story of people with different objectives clashing in Vladivostok, where both secrets and truths are submerged in a cold sea of ice.
"Humint," which deals with the story of four people who each head to Vladivostok to find clues to incidents occurring in the border area between North Korea and Russia, is the new work of director Ryu Seung-wan, who has built his own cinematic world with films such as "Smugglers," "Mogadishu" and "Veteran," and it drew anticipation even before its release. In addition, well-known actors Zo In-sung, Park Jeongmin, Park Hae-jun and Shin Sae-kyeong vividly portray the conflicts that arise as each character's complex relationships and emotions collide, increasing the film's immersion.
In particular, the differentiated action styles—barehanded action, gunplay and car chases—tailored to the characters' tendencies and relationships deliver supreme catharsis. In addition, the Latvia locations that captured Vladivostok's frozen air provide overwhelming visuals that are hard to take your eyes off, and they add realistic tension by interlocking with the emotions of the characters moving within them.
Having received passionate love from domestic audiences, "Humint" is now expected to continue that momentum as it becomes available to viewers worldwide through Netflix. For global viewers, it will offer subtitles in 33 languages, including French, German and Chinese, and dubbing in 21 languages, including English, Spanish and Japanese.
Ahead of "Humint" being released on Netflix, NEW said, "We are pleased to present 'Humint' to viewers around the world through Netflix. It is very meaningful to be able to maximize the work's vitality and meet global movie fans."
