Actor Kim Go-eun revealed her cooking skills.
On the 25th, a video titled "I'm here to soothe my peckish cells. Sibling chemistry on display: Kim Go-eun & Anh Sung-jae reveal spring wild chive soybean paste stew & ultra-simple stir-fried beef brisket recipe" was uploaded to the YouTube channel Chef Anh Sung-jae.
Returning in season 3 of the drama Yumi's Cells, Kim Go-eun likened her current state to cells and expressed nervousness.
Kim Go-eun said, "Right now I'm the anxious cell. What if I can't reproduce the flavor I usually make? Anxiety. And because you're quite frank, I think you'll speak honestly."
Then Anh Sung-jae asked, "Do you cook often?" Kim Go-eun said, "When I'm off, I tend to cook a lot and eat it, but because I'm working most of the time," adding, "But when I cook a lot and then stop, if I put my hands down completely, I tend to totally forget like 'How did I do this?'"
Anh Sung-jae said, "I've heard you're pretty good, so I'm looking forward to it. What do you think?" Kim Go-eun replied, "When my parents, my new sister-in-law and my brother and family gathered, they said since I'm appearing here I should try making doenjang jjigae, so I cooked it hard and they ate it and the reaction was good."
She went on to say about her cooking skills, "When I was younger I lived alone for a long time, so cooking everything myself is much cheaper, right? I cooked a lot."
