From singer Kim Jaejoong to the group TWS, the Weverse Con Festival will offer a glimpse of 20 years of K-pop lineage at a glance.
From second-generation K-pop artist Kim Jaejoong to fifth-generation BOYNEXTDOOR, AMPERS&ONE, and TWS, stages featuring senior and junior artists with debut years spanning 20 years will unfold at the Weverse Con Festival. Through this lineup, the Weverse Con Festival is expected to establish itself as a symbolic festival that provides an overview of the flow of popular music history at a glance.
HYBE on the 25th announced the second lineup for the 2026 Weverse Con Festival (Weverse Con Festival, hereinafter WeConFe) via the global superfans platform Weverse and the Weverse Con Festival official website.
The second lineup consists of 10 acts: Kwon Jin Ah (KWON JIN AH), Kim Jaejoong (KIM JAE JOONG), Lucy (LUCY), BOYNEXTDOOR (BOYNEXTDOOR), AMPERS&ONE (AMPERS&ONE), Apink (Apink), Yoon San-ha (YOON SAN-HA), TWS (TWS), 82MAJOR (82MAJOR) and Hwang Min-hyun (HWANG MIN HYUN). This lineup also includes artists spanning diverse genres and generations.
Kim Jaejoong and Apink, marking their 22nd and 15th debut anniversaries respectively this year, are mainstays who have carried on K-pop's musical lineage for a long time, adding weight to this year's WeConFe lineup.
Kim Jaejoong, appearing on the WeConFe stage for the second time following 2024, confirmed his influence as a Hallyu star by recording No. 1 on the Oricon daily chart with Rhapsody, released in Japan last year, and successfully completing a tour of four Japanese cities. Given Kim Jaejoong's overwhelming stage presence and wide musical spectrum, fans' expectations for his performance are growing.
Apink, the long-running icon joining WeConFe for the first time, swept various music charts with mini album No. 11 RE : LOVE in January this year. In February, they continued their unrivaled run by holding eight solo concerts domestically—the first among domestic girl groups to do so. Apink, who have long received the public's love, will deliver a stage that all generations can enjoy together.
Appearances by fifth-generation K-pop artists also stand out. BOYNEXTDOOR, the next-generation performance powerhouse, will take the WeConFe stage for the fourth consecutive year. After completing their first solo tour across 14 cities worldwide last year, BOYNEXTDOOR proved their solid performance capabilities by playing major overseas festivals. Based on experience gained on the global stage, they will present a highly polished performance befitting the nickname "midbonect" (trusted BOYNEXTDOOR). TWS, regarded as a "youth icon," has also decided to appear at WeConFe for the third consecutive year. Following a six-city tour in Japan last year, TWS expanded their global activities with solo tours in Greater China, including Macau and Kaohsiung, in January and February this year. Having been active on global stages, TWS is expected to bring fresh energy to this WeConFe stage.
Next-generation global group AMPERS&ONE joins WeConFe for the first time. After completing their first Asia tour last year and successfully finishing a 19-city North American tour this year, AMPERS&ONE has established themselves as a global group. Following a comeback stage in April, AMPERS&ONE will deliver a powerful and energetic performance at WeConFe.
News of performances by artists who will stoke the festival's excitement is also drawing attention. 82MAJOR will heat up the WeConFe stage once again following last year. In just two years since debut, 82MAJOR increased venue capacities by tenfold and boosted first-week album sales more than 13-fold. After successfully completing North American and Asian tours last year, they began a European tour in March this year, visiting countries including France and Germany, showing solid growth. News of Lucy, the top pick for bookings, making their first WeConFe appearance also draws interest. Lucy has conquered large-scale major festivals with a distinctive musical color. Last year they held their eighth solo concert and demonstrated their pulling power by selling out every show. Lucy is expected to captivate audiences with explosive band sound.
The solo lineup includes artists noted for their captivating vocals and sensitivity. Yoon San-ha, who reemerged as a solo artist after being a member of the group ASTRO, will take the WeConFe stage. Through his mini album No. 2 CHAMELEON, released last year, Yoon San-ha showcased music across various genres and successfully completed tours in 10 cities across Asia and North and South America. Having proven his strength as a solo artist, Yoon San-ha will meet audiences with a more mature stage. Kwon Jin Ah, the female solo performance powerhouse, will also appear at WeConFe. Kwon Jin Ah has won broad fan affection with outstanding songwriting and composing skills as well as powerful vocals that dominate the stage. Ahead of her solo concert in April, Kwon Jin Ah will deliver deep resonance to audiences with her compelling voice.
All-rounder Hwang Min-hyun, active as both singer and actor, has confirmed his second WeConFe appearance. Known for his gentle charisma and delicate emotional lines, Hwang Min-hyun showcased a more mature musical color with the new song Truth released in February. He is expected to complete an immersive stage that blends his distinctive sensibility at this performance as well.
HYBE said it will provide another special experience this year that unites people through music with a wide lineup that everyone who loves popular music can enjoy, and added that the final lineup, which will include "tribute artists" who made a mark in popular music history, will also be composed of diverse artists reflecting WeConFe's values.
WeConFe will be held for two days, June 6–7, at Seoul Olympic Park's KSPO DOME and the 88 lawn square. After announcing the first lineup of 10 acts on the 11th, the organizers added 10 more acts for the second lineup, confirming a total of 20 acts so far. The final lineup will be announced in April.
