Nell's Kim Jong-wan recalled his past as a heavy drinker.

That day Sung Si Kyung met Nell's Kim Jong-wan and they ate at a soy sauce marinated crab restaurant while talking. During the conversation, Kim Jong-wan asked, "Hyung, have you been drinking a lot lately?" and Sung Si Kyung said, "But I also lost weight. I really lost a lot. I've been working hard to lose weight for just over a month," revealing that he was restraining himself for dieting.
Kim Jong-wan asked, "From exercise?" and Sung Si Kyung said, "Exercise and diet," adding, "I became a cosmetics model," which drew attention. Hearing this, Kim Jong-wan said, "In Korea? Really?" in surprise, and Sung Si Kyung explained the reason for managing himself, saying, "Don't you not want to cause inconvenience? You don't want to be ridiculed."
He snapped, "When I tell most people, 'I became a cosmetics model,' they go 'pfft.' So I get really mad," and Kim Jong-wan asked, "Isn't that for middle-aged men?" In response, Sung Si Kyung, choking up, said, "No. Look at this," and vowed, "During the contract period I want to be model-like. So while I'm a model I won't suddenly become a pig (I'll manage myself)."
Kim Jong-wan asked about his drinking capacity, "Then is drinking okay? Is it the same as before?" and Sung Si Kyung said, "No. It's much less. But I felt yesterday and the day before that my brain is still sturdy. So I don't get drunk easily. My body has become weaker." Kim Jong-wan said, "Then you do have physical hangovers, too," surprised, and Sung Si Kyung replied, "I do. How old do you think I am?"
Then Kim Jong-wan revealed, "I remember you used to say, 'Jong-wan, it's good to one-shot makgeolli and start,'" and Sung Si Kyung bowed his head, saying, "It's embarrassing, but there was such a time."
Kim Jong-wan said, "You used to say, 'If you one-shot makgeolli to start, the buzz rises quickly and you can maintain it,' so I tried that but it didn't work. I got more drunk," and Sung Si Kyung asked, "You also, when you drink, keep drinking, right?" Kim Jong-wan revealed, "I'm the type who drinks for a very long time," and Sung Si Kyung clicked his tongue, saying, "Zombie style."
Kim Jong-wan said, "I used to be the style to not sleep for two or three days and keep drinking. These days we have festivals, performances and many singing obligations, and recovery doesn't happen, right? So I think I don't drink as much. Even eating this much now is the first time this year," describing the change.
Sung Si Kyung said, "I wondered why I don't like whiskey, and it's because I sip it, so I don't get drunk. So I tend to drink weaker alcohol quickly so my body isn't uncomfortable, and if I drink half a bottle of whiskey straight it feels good but my body takes a big hit. So I keep going toward drinking weaker alcohol quickly," revealing his routine, and added sheepishly, "Aren't we being more serious than when talking about music?" which drew laughter.
