Singer Kim Heung-guk sent a message of support to BTS.
Recently Kim Heung-guk mentioned BTS's Gwanghwamun performance on his YouTube channel and said, "I am really proud."
He added, "People around the world were surprised by the stage in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea, where they returned as a full group after four years."
Also, Kim Heung-guk said, "A singer prepares for every performance that has a stage," and emphasized, "The number of audience members is not important. We should praise, support and applaud more for the enhancement of national prestige."
BTS held a comeback commemorative performance at Gwanghwamun Plaza on the 21st and presented a full-group stage for the first time in about four years.
Above all, this remark draws attention as it coincides with Kim Heung-guk's recent move to declare he would stop political activities. Until last year Kim Heung-guk had actively voiced political opinions, but he said, "I am done with politics. I have no interest now," and conveyed his intention to focus on entertainment activities.
