Actor Nana made a strong impression as Hwang Jeong-won, a character with both information skills and the ability to act, in "Climax."
"Climax" depicts prosecutor Bang Tae-seop (Ju Jihoon) who plunged into a cartel of power to reach the top of Korea and the fierce survival drama of those around him. Nana played Hwang Jeong-won, who moves covertly beside Bang Tae-seop and provides information. She is a key character who holds the key to the Pandora's box that exposes the cartel of power, a character with a dense narrative.
On the 23rd and 24th, episodes 3 and 4 of the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama "Climax" were released, and Nana appeared as Hwang Jeong-won, who uncovers the forces behind the case Bang Tae-seop is pursuing, sparking curiosity about future developments.
Hwang Jeong-won moved nimbly to help Bang Tae-seop and took control of the situation. She intentionally spilled a drink on Choi Ji-ho (Oh Seung-hoon) to distract attention with playful conversation, bought time for colleagues in the gap, and showed quick judgment and execution at the same time. Later Hwang Jeong-won dramatically raised the tension by snatching the laptop containing important files from Choi Ji-ho with a daring kick. She vividly revealed her role as a broker on the scene.
Facing the key case materials in the stolen laptop, Hwang Jeong-won gave off a strange tension as if she had detected the link between Chu Sang-a (Ha Jiwon) and Han Ji-su (Han Dong Hee), further stimulating curiosity about future developments.
In this way Nana completed the Hwang Jeong-won character with a three-dimensional performance that moved between cool judgment and bold execution. Even within a character of understated expressions, she delivered the character's energy and strengthened the role of Hwang Jeong-won, and at moments when she performed action, she left an impact with a single blow that stamped her presence as a key player in the genre.
Meanwhile, the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama "Climax," in which Nana appears, airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 p.m. on ENA and is also available on KT Jini TV and Disney+.
