At a time when my daughter needed her father because of surgery, I prepared the divorce papers while caring for her in the hospital." She added, "I wanted to keep the family," which made the situation more heartbreaking.
When her older sister asked whether she regretted the divorce, Han Hye-joo said, "At first I regretted it," saying her daughter talked about her father a lot and that her feelings wavered whenever the daughter looked for him.
