YouTuber Eom Eun-hyang said she felt betrayed by the casting for writer Im Seong-han's new work.
Recently, on the Couch Potato Club channel a video titled "Too... desperate Eumhyangi's review of Im Seong-han's new work 'Doctor Shin' + focused analysis of Im Seong-han | Capocl 'Doctor Shin' episode [Eom Eun-hyang, Park Moon-chi, Patricia, Jeong Yi-chan, An Woo Yeon]" was posted.
In the video, Eom Eun-hyang said at a gathering with the leading actors of Im Seong-han (Phoebe)'s new work "Doctor Shin," "One item on my bucket list is auditioning for an Im Seong-han drama," adding, "But I can't find out that route," which set off a wave of laughter. Then An Woo Yeon, who plays the role of Ha Yong-jung in the drama, laughed and said, "It seems like not just anyone can get in."
Eom Eun-hyang went on to say, "I felt betrayed — they said Im Seong-han's new work is coming out but the casting is already finished," expressing regret.
Eom Eun-hyang, who has been showing a dominant presence in the short-form content market recently, is called a "human copier" for parody content that perfectly captures the characteristics of works by masters such as Eom Eun-hyang, Im Seong-han, Kim Soon-ok, and Hong Sang-soo, and she is gaining popularity. Beyond merely imitating, she creates new memes through details that capture the "texture" of characters.
Especially, the Im Seong-han series among Eom Eun-hyang's parodies gets the most heated reactions, as she perfectly renders Im Seong-han's signature distinctive style that begins with "You know what I mean" and his sprawling monologues, drawing admiration. She currently has about 630,000 subscribers.
