The reason Iyoo of the group BTS was left off the credits of the new album was revealed.
On the 20th, BTS held a live broadcast on the official fan community Weverse to celebrate their comeback with their fifth studio album 'ARIRANG' (Arirang).
That day, the members drew attention by revealing various behind-the-scenes stories related to the new album 'Arirang.'
Suga said, "If you look at the credits this time, there are producers, but we also took the lead and all participated in the form of producers."
However, Jin had been on a solo tour while the other members were holding a song camp in the U.S. to work on the new album. Because the schedules overlapped, he joined the song camp late and his name did not appear on the album credits.
Jin, who said he joined the U.S. a week before the session ended because of the tour, explained, "They said they had already made more than 100 pieces of music," and "I listened to more than half of the album after coming back to Korea."
RM said, "Each of our colors came through. Jin hyung actually would have participated if his tour had ended a little earlier. It's a shame," and V added, "He had time he could have used, but his condition wasn't good. He kept touring."
The members expressed their gratitude, saying, "Hyung worked very hard. Thanks to him he protected the team," and Jin replied, "I'm glad a lot of great songs came out."
RM also said, "Jin hyung was discharged first and maintained the team's momentum. He toured and even did projects like 'Run, Seokjin' and 'Gianjang.' I've never seen anyone who dislikes Jin hyung. His role was significant. I was moved even when I went to the concert. He really worked hard. Thank you."
Meanwhile, BTS is proving its global popularity as the new song 'SWIM' has topped global charts for three consecutive days.
