The group NEWBEAT celebrated their first anniversary by creating special memories with NEURO (the fandom name).
NEWBEAT (Park Min-seok·Hong Min-seong·Jeon Yeo-yeo-jeong·Choi Seo-hyun·Kim Tae-yang·Jo Yun-hoo·Kim Ri-woo) held a live broadcast commemorating their first anniversary on their official YouTube channel on the 24th.
That day the members appeared wearing the outfits from their 'JeLLo (힘숨찐)' promotions when they first introduced themselves under the name NEWBEAT. They then shared various behind-the-scenes photos, held pick-the-name talk and question-drawing segments, and prepared a variety of corners to look back on their year of activities with fans.
In particular, NEWBEAT drew attention by preparing a time capsule box to be opened on their second anniversary. The members put polaroid photos they had taken of each other and handwritten letters into the box at the site, and they ended the live by sharing wishes they want to achieve with NEURO.
Various events commemorating the first anniversary were also held. From the 24th to April 24, domestic and international Photoism frames and Snapism services were opened for a month to give fans an experience as if they were taking photos with the members. They also offered enjoyment to fans through anniversary goods (MD) sales and cafe events.
After debuting on March 24 last year and carrying out active promotions, NEWBEAT recently successfully completed their first national tour, "2026 Drop the NEWBEAT : NEURO 1000 PROJECT". During the tour, they achieved the mission of meeting 1,000 fans in person and fulfilled their pledged donation of 10 million won.
Riding that momentum, NEWBEAT will attend as guests at a concert by Thai actor and singer Nunew held at Samsung Hall, Ewha Womans University in Seoul on the 28th. Previously, members Park Min-seok and Jeon Yeo-yeo-jeong released cover videos of Nunew's new song, and Nunew reportedly left comments and shared them on social media, which led to the guest appearance.
NEWBEAT is preparing a new album with the goal of a comeback in May.
