OWIS made its bid for the music scene with a well-made debut that captivates the eyes and ears.
Virtual girl group OWIS (OWIS, Serin·Haru·Summer·Soi·Yuni) on the 23rd at 6 p.m. released all tracks from their first mini album "MUSEUM" and the music video for the title track through various online music sites and their official YouTube channel.
The title track "MUSEUM" is a midtempo song highlighted by a gentle guitar riff; member Summer participated in writing the lyrics, depicting the process of finding one's own light in a world that unfolds while asleep. It poetically unravels the idea that fragments of forgotten innocence and passion—such as "the memory of that lost day" and "the missing piece collected without my knowing"—begin to breathe again.
The released music video added immersion with direction that crosses reality and virtuality, day and night. A repository of memories opens while asleep, and the stories of OWIS members unfolded within leave the impression of watching an animated film. It particularly lingered by delivering a hopeful message of confronting lost dreams and moving forward again.
The first mini album is an album that collects forgotten emotions and fragments of memory and presents them as a single exhibition. OWIS presented eight songs of different colors, including the title track, "airplane:143", "juicy", and "forNEVER". It drew reviews that they left a strong visual impression on the public with solid vocal skills and distinctive musicality immediately upon debut.
On the day of their debut, OWIS hosted a live broadcast on their official YouTube channel to communicate with fans, and during the broadcast they surprised fans by announcing the fandom name IZZ (In the ZZZ Zone). It means "stay in the ZZZ zone," referring to the moment when OWIS and fans meet during the time everyone is asleep.
