Actor Park Minyoung, Yook Sungjae, and Go Soo join forces for 'Nine to Six'.
SBS's new drama 'Nine to Six' (directed by Lee Hyung-min, Oh Song-hee; written by Choi Ji-o) is a realistic, relatable office romance about Kang I-ji (Park Minyoung), a rational Vice Minister of the legal team who has proven herself through work; Han Seon-woo (Yook Sungjae), an emotional intern whose kindness is his weapon; and Deputy Minister Park Hyun-tae (Go Soo).
Park Minyoung plays Kang I-ji, a workaholic Vice Minister of Chronic Motors' legal team. Rational Kang I-ji, who believes love and marriage are ultimately hormonal, experiences a thrilling change when she meets the affectionate younger man Han Seon-woo and the ideal Deputy Minister Park Hyun-tae. Having scored consistent wins in office romance with dramas such as What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, Korea Meteorological Administration People, and Marry My Husband, the "rom-com queen" Park Minyoung raises expectations for the acting and unique character interpretation she will show.
Yook Sungjae transforms into the ideal younger man Han Seon-woo, rare to see in real life, raising the excitement level. Han Seon-woo, who joined Chronic Motors' legal team as an intern, is a character who earns trust within the team through quick judgment and diligence, a younger man who combines warmth with responsibility. Following the acting he proved in The Haunted Palace, anticipation grows for Yook Sungjae's new character transformation as he returns with a more mature romantic performance.
Go Soo has been cast as Park Hyun-tae, the Deputy Minister newly dispatched to Chronic Motors Korea, adding to the anticipation. In the drama, Park Hyun-tae evaluates Kang I-ji based solely on ability. Notably, this is Go Soo's first romance appearance in about 15 years, and expectations are gathering for the Deputy Minister character and the new charm he will show. Attention is focused on the romantic tension and performance Go Soo will create with his deep gaze and acting.
Above all, the synergy that romance specialists Park Minyoung, Yook Sungjae, and Go Soo will create already excites. Their meeting, which combines acting ability, visuals, and chemistry, is expected to sweetly color viewers' living rooms.
Meanwhile, SBS's new drama 'Nine to Six,' starring Park Minyoung, Yook Sungjae and Go Soo, is scheduled to air in the second half of 2026.
