Yumi's Cells season 3, a Tving original to be released on Apr. 13 (Mon) (directed by Lee Sang-yeob, written by Song Jae-jung·Kim Kyung-ran, provided by Tving, produced by Studio Dragon·Mericow·Studio N), on the 24th raised excitement by releasing the main poster "heartthrob alert," showing a romantic bolt from the blue falling between star writer Yumi (played by Kim Go-eun) and her producer Sun-rok (played by Kim Jaewon).
Returning after three years, Yumi's Cells season 3 depicts a cell-stirring, relatable romance in which star writer Yumi, living a bland life despite her fame, once again laughs, cries and falls in love because of an unexpected person who appears like a bolt from the blue. Centered on Kim Go-eun, who played "Yumi herself," the joining of hot young actor Kim Jaewon and the reunion of trusted director Lee Sang-yeob with writers Song Jae-jung and Kim Kyung-ran raises expectations.
Meanwhile, the released main poster raises anticipation for the new love that comes to Yumi. First, the heart-shaped bolt from the blue that sparkles and falls between Yumi, who is wearing a lovesome smile full of excitement, and the chic Sun-rok draws attention. The phrase "his smile that struck like lightning awakened dormant cells" heightens curiosity about Yumi and Sun-rok's unpredictable age-gap romance. Starting Apr. 13, two episodes will be exclusively pre-released on Tving every Monday at 6 p.m., and one episode will air on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 p.m.
