Thai newcomer Pui will make her debut with an OST.
Pui, who overcame intense competition in Thailand and has been training in Korea, participated in the OST singing for KBS1 daily drama Marie and Her Three Daddies and released the track "Almost spring" on the 24th ahead of her official debut.
Through the new song, Pui awakens the emotions of the spring season by conveying a restrained sensitivity with a pure, charming vocal tone. As can be felt from the lyrics Maybe spring has found me / Frozen through the long cold winter, it contains the emotion of warming my heart that had been frozen solid during the long winter as spring arrives.
It is an acoustic pop-style song in which Pui's lyrical, restrained voice harmonizes with warm lyrics and the lively acoustic guitar. It blends perfectly with the season as the cold gradually retreats.
This song was presented as an easy-listening track jointly created by composers Ko Byung-sik and Buzzerbeater and Lee Hyung-sung, who have worked with Thai artists including (G)I-dle's Minnie and new Thai artists Tira and Lina.
Pui, 15 this year from Bangkok, Thailand, said, "Owning my own song was my dream, and this being my first experience made it even more special, exciting and joyful," and added, "I will practice hard and carry out full debut activities to bring happiness to many people."
Marie and Her Three Daddies (written by Kim Hong-joo, directed by Seo Yong-su) depicts the birth of an unusual family, closer than blood, and the process of Marie finding her father, and is set to conclude with episode 120 on the 27th.
