Yulhee, who drew attention after transforming into a female streamer, was confirmed to have recently had her contract with her agency expire.
On the 24th, OSEN reported that Yulhees exclusive contract with HiBeam Studio, the agency she became affiliated with after her divorce, expired earlier this year. The two sides agreed to part ways with the expiration of the exclusive contract and without renewing.
Yulhee, who debuted in 2014 as a member of the group Laboum, married FTISLAND's Choi Min-hwan in 2018 and had one son and two daughters. After the marriage, she gained great popularity by revealing her parenting life through programs such as "The Man Who Takes Care of the House," but they announced their divorce in 2023.
After her divorce, Yulhee appeared on variety shows such as "Now I'm Alone" and "Run to Live," and in October 2024 she announced she had signed with the newly founded agency HiBeam Studio and would transition to acting. She later gained acting experience through short-form dramas such as "My Partner Is the Devil" and "Be Proper at the Office."
Recently Yulhee also drew attention by hosting live broadcasts on TikTok. When one viewer reacted, "You seem like a female streamer," she replied, "What you are watching now is a female streamer. It's a nuance difference. I consider myself a female streamer."
"Female streamer" refers to a woman turning on a cam and conducting an internet broadcast. However, as female internet broadcasts that center on revealing or provocative content have increased, some negative views have also emerged.
Regarding this, Yulhee acknowledged that in a broad sense she is a "female streamer," and at the same time promised wholesome broadcasts focused on relaxed communication or girl-group dances rather than content with revealing or negative images.
Answering questions about her private life honestly, Yulhee said, "I would like to have a boyfriend, but I don't. I have a girlfriend. It's not that I'm deliberately not dating. I think it doesn't make sense, but that's how it turned out."
With Yulhee now known to be a free agent while active in various fields, attention is focused on her future moves.
