JYP's band Xdinary Heroes (Xdinary Heroes, XH) released the music video teaser for their pre-release track for the first time.
Xdinary Heroes will release their new mini album DEAD AND and the title track Voyager on Apr. 17. After raising anticipation for the album with the new release scheduler and track list posted on their official SNS channels, at noon on the 24th they released the music video teaser for the pre-release track "X room".
The video, which begins with a blue sky, overlays a cozy sensibility as scenes move from a child waiting for something, to a colorfully decorated snowman, to a figure faintly smiling. In the next scene, a small movie theater shows a projector running, and people who seem to each carry their own stories gather to watch the film. Then, over a gentle melody, the lyrics "Summer Haze, Polo Shirt Cobalt Shade, Scarlet Blush Every sheen of ours was flawless" play, raising curiosity about the full "X room" track and music video, which will be presented first from the new release.
The pre-release track "X room" was written and composed with participation from all members of Xdinary Heroes, and it was supported by prominent songwriters including Shim Eun-ji, Lee Hae-sol and Lee Hyeong-seok (PNP). The album includes a total of seven tracks—"X room," the title track "Voyager," "Helium Balloon," "No Cool Kids Zone," "Hurt So Good," "Rise High Rise," and "KTM"—and the six members Geon Il, Jeong-su, Gaon, O.de, Jun Han and Juyeon again participated in writing and producing all the new release tracks, showcasing their musical capabilities.
Xdinary Heroes' eighth mini album DEAD AND and the title track "Voyager" will be officially released at 1 p.m. on Apr. 17. Ahead of that, the pre-release track "X room," which lifts the veil, will be available on various music streaming sites from 6 p.m. tomorrow (the 25th).
