Actor Um Jun-gi joins 'Secret Audit,' returning to the small screen.
tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Secret Audit' (director Lee Suhyun, screenplay by Yeo Eun-ho, creator Yang Hee-seung) is a tense close-contact audit romance between charismatic audit chief Ju In-ah (Shin Hae-sun) who harbors a secret and audit ace Noh Gi-jun (Gong Myoung), who is demoted overnight to in charge of exposing workplace misconduct (PM).
In the drama, Um Jun-gi plays Assistant Manager An Min-su of Audit Team 1. Min-su is Gi-jun's close colleague and fellow hire. He is a character with exceptional pride in his work who will bring energy to the drama.
Um Jun-gi swept critics' attention by winning best actor awards for the film "Dollimchong," including the best male actor at the 6th Chungmuro Film Festival—Directors' Week and the acting award at the 39th Busan International Short Film Festival. He has shown his steady acting skills not only on the big screen but also in dramas such as Taxi Driver, D.P., Chief Detective 1958, and Gwangjang. In particular, in Resident Playbook, Um Jun-gi portrayed anesthesiology and pain medicine resident Joo Sang-hyun, vividly depicting the struggles of a third-year resident and earning great affection from viewers.
With such distinctive acting and a diverse filmography, expectations are rising about what kind of acting transformation Um Jun-gi will use to captivate viewers in this "Secret Audit."
