On the 24th, a representative of MBC Every1 told OSEN, "The new entertainment show 'The Great Guide 3,' featuring Park Myung Soo, Kim Dae-ho, Choi Daniel and Lee Mujin, recently finished filming in Ethiopia," in an official statement. They added, "The specific scheduling is undecided, but it is scheduled to air within the year aiming for broadcast in the second half," they explained.
"The Great Guide" is a local-focused travel reality show in which foreigners who have lived in Korea for several years become guides and show travelers visiting their home countries spots known only to locals. It first aired as a pilot in 2023 and was regularized the following year. Since then, season 2 and "The Great Guide 2.5—The Great and Difficult Guide," which featured Kim Dae-ho and Choi Daniel, have aired.
Previously, "The Great Guide" used a variety of regions as backdrops, from Europe to the Middle East, Asia and South America, including Italy, Egypt, the United Kingdom, Mexico, India, Rwanda, Argentina and Jordan. Among these, season 3 showcases travel in Ethiopia, Africa.
In particular, original and core members Park Myung Soo, Kim Dae-ho, Choi Daniel and Lee Mujin have reunited, raising expectations. <
