ITZY member Yuna launches as a solo artist today (23rd).
Yuna will release her first solo album Ice Cream and the title track of the same name at 6 p.m. on the 23rd, becoming ITZY's second soloist after Yeji. Since debuting with ITZY in 2019, Yuna, who has shone with abundant charm and her signature lovely, positive energy, is newly building her solo artist identity and expanding her momentum.
Yuna's solo debut song Ice Cream, which sheds a fresh spring veil, is a bubblegum pop track that is bubbly and highly addictive like chewing gum. It delivers the message "this moment is melting sweetly like ice cream, so don't miss it and enjoy it to the fullest" and is expected to invigorate listeners. The music video was crafted with director Yoon Seung-rim of Legend Film joining to highlight Yuna's perfected visuals and graceful dance lines.
The new release includes the title track Ice Cream as well as songs that offer variety, such as "B-Boy," which captures a free mood; "Blue Maze," which描绘s soft, dreamy moments of love with depth; and "Hyper Dream," which, over dramatic and lavish sound layering, invites listeners to "jump together into the world of dreams."
ITZY's golden maknae Yuna will carry forward the popularity of THAT'S A NO NO that has recently dominated various social media during her first solo activities. THAT'S A NO NO is a track from ITZY's second mini album IT'z ME, released in March 2020, and its performance was first unveiled during the world tour ITZY 3RD WORLD TOUR
Nicknamed "daechu no-no" (a nickname for "THAT'S A NO NO"), the youngest member Yuna, who has achieved soaring video views across multiple social media channels and a reverse climb on music charts, combining visual appeal, skill and charm, is making her solo debut and is expected to carry that momentum forward.
Yuna will hold a countdown live starting at 5 p.m. that day and meet MIDZY, her global fandom.
