Group Shinhwa member and actor Kim Dong Wan responded to a post by a former manager.
On the morning of the 23rd, Kim Dong Wan said on his personal social media, "The content currently being circulated is false claims that differ from the facts." He added, "I will not comment on personal relationships. If the spreading false information continues, I will take all legal civil and criminal measures," he emphasized.
Earlier, a person claiming to be Kim Dong Wan's former manager posted on social media, "Whether years ago or now, how can it be the same like this? Drinking and causing trouble at Clubhouse, making headlines, drinking and doing Instagram Live and fighting with fans," they wrote.
They continued, "This time, whether he wanted to be a hero or whether he was sane or not, problems arose because of drunk driving and recently during a live broadcast he assaulted a BJ and the MC ㄷㄷ cheered? And people who said true things were blocked," they said.
The former manager said, "Dong Wan hyung, you really didn't listen to me even when I was your manager, did you? I wasn't just a new road manager who only drove, right? Seeing the former manager leave as if running away, I wondered why.. hyung, it would be better if you just worked with a mute new manager for life!" they said.
He added, "Hyung, you may not remember calling me a sociopath.. please get to know hyung first before judging others. Even now when I see people who say they like you and leave comments, sometimes it looks truly pitiful! As you know, the gap between hyung and the fans' enthusiasm is enormous. Right?" and added, "Hyung, living an ordinary celebrity life is beneficial to everyone's health."
Finally, the former manager claimed, "And hyung, you asked me to get you musical work because you needed cash, so I personally contacted CEO Shin of the Something Rotten production company, which happened to be casting, and raised the appearance fee to the maximum, but suddenly you said you didn't want to do it—do you know how awkward that was for me?" and also alleged, "But after I resigned, Something Rotten appearance??
