The group UNIS is emerging as the new protagonist of spring season songs.
According to their agency F&F Entertainment on the 23rd, the track "Spring Rain" from UNIS's second mini album SWICY ranked seventh on YouTube Korea's daily popular music videos.
"Spring Rain" was released last April alongside UNIS's signature song "SWICY." The song is showing a strong late surge, climbing the charts about 11 months after its release. As spring arrives, it is naturally spreading by word of mouth among the public and emerging as a new "spring season" song.
In particular, this resurgence was sparked by the "Spring Rain" special clip released with the track. The video maximized a cozy spring mood and combined the members' fresh and youthful charms, capturing both the public's eyes and ears, critics say. Meeting a comeback storm along with the new season, UNIS's upward momentum with "Spring Rain" is drawing expectations about how far it will go.
"Spring Rain" is a lyrical green pop house song. It likens the feeling of first love that arrives unexpectedly to spring rain and captures UNIS's fresh sensibility.
UNIS is currently conducting active global activities. Recently, through their first North American tour, they left significant marks in a total of 14 cities from Philadelphia to Washington, D.C., Charlotte, Atlanta, Jacksonville, New York, Cleveland, Chicago, Ottawa, Dallas, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Mexico City and Los Angeles.
