'Ulzzang Era' Yoo Hye-ju opened up about allegations of her husband's affair.
Yoo Hye-ju posted a video titled 'I speak about my husband's affair for the first time' on the YouTube channel Rejoolike on the 22nd.
In the video, Yoo Hye-ju began, "This is a long story. Because, when Yu-jun was born, did oppa hear it first?"
Her husband Jo Ddaeng Jo Jung-yeon said, "When Yu-jun was a newborn, it was a time when 24 hours were not enough because of caring for Yu-jun. Back then calls came from colleagues saying, 'Have you heard the rumor that hyung is having an affair?', 'Oppa, did you hear this?' At first it was just absurd," and he said, "It was absurd and sometimes funny, and when I worked at a company I also heard rumors about other people, and as I became more famous at the company the target of that rumor was changed to me in some cases."
She continued, "So I know well how rumors like that form, so you can't even find who the spreader is. So I just thought that's how it is and since it's not me I moved on. Wouldn't it be really funny to say, 'I didn't have an affair' there?"
Yoo Hye-ju said, "The rumor was that when I was pregnant with Yu-jun, oppa had an affair with a flight attendant at his company, and that flight attendant didn't know oppa was married, and later when things passed she found out he was married and was so angry that she asked to spread the rumor."
She added, "The rumor is very specific. It sometimes appears on communities and even on places like Blind. Honestly it's a baseless rumor and it's not worth us expending energy reacting to every such thing, right? It's not true and there's no reason for us to bring it up, and by staying quiet the rumor grew and they even asked our editor to check, they said," she laughed.
In particular, Yoo Hye-ju said, "Honestly, if oppa or I were having an affair, we couldn't produce content to this extent."
Meanwhile, Yoo Hye-ju is a shopping mall CEO who appeared on the cable variety show 'Ulzzang Era 5' which aired in 2011. She married an older flight attendant in 2019. Her husband is currently retired.
